Named after prominent Cuban literary figure, José Martí, this library currently houses over two million volumes, as well as other writings that were published both locally and abroad. Maps, engravings, slides, photos, film and sound recordings also make up a part of the Library’s contents. Some of the Library’s documents are very rare and valuable.
