From the airport to Barcelona

You have different options to reach the city center of Barcelona:

  • By bus: There is an Aerobus (A1) service to Plaça de Catalunya, departing from in front of all terminals. The shuttle bus runs from 6:00 am to 01:00 am. Monday to Sunday. There are departures every 7 to 15 minutes. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Tickets are sold on the bus. From the Plaça de Catalunya it is just a 10-minute walk to the school.

  • By train: Direct shuttle to the city every half hour, from 6:00 am to 10:59 pm. Duration of trip: between 20 and 25 minutes. Outside, between the two terminals, there is an escalator which takes you to a red and white bridge that connects to the train station. The train stops at “Sants Estació” (main train station). From “Sants” you have to take the Metro (L3 – green line) to “Plaça de Catalunya” (if you want to stop at the city centre) or at “Liceu” (if you want to go to the school).

  • By rental car: Avis, National Atesa, Europcar and Hertz are all represented at the airport, with offices located on the ground floor of Terminals 1 and 2 (between Gate B and C). When leaving the airport, take road C31, which will take you straight on to the city centre (through the Gran Via). Just follow the signs “Centre Ciutat”.
