From Frankfurt International Airport to Frankfurt

Frankfurt International Airport is one of the world's most important air traffic hubs, ranking among the top ten in terms of passenger and cargo volumes. The International Airport of Frankfurt is only 12 km away from the city and well connected to the public transport system. These are your options to get downtown and to the Sprachcaffe school:

  • By train: Frankfurt airport has two train stations, one for regional and one for long-distance trains. The station for regional trains (“Regionalbahnhof”) is located at terminal 1 and from here you can get on S-Bahn trains' lines S8 and S9 taking you to the city's central train station (“Hauptbahnhof”). The trip will take about 15 minutes and a single ticket costs about EUR 3,55. If you are going directly to our language school, you need to get off at Hauptbahnhof station and take the city tram no. 16 in the direction of Offenbach and get off at "Gartenstraße" station.

  • By bus: Buses leave regularly from terminal 1 (the Arrivals' area) and terminal 2 (Arrival's and Departures' areas). Bus no. 61 takes you directly to Frankfurt-Südbahnhof (south station), near which our language school is located.
  • By taxi: A taxi will take you to Frankfurt city in about 15 min and the usual price is around EUR 25.

From Frankfurt Hahn Airport to Frankfurt

Since its inception as a civil airport in 1993, Frankfurt-Hahn has become one of Germany’s fastest growing airports. This airport is much smaller than Frankfurt International Rhein Main Airport and therefore getting around there is quite easy. Even though it is further away from the city you will get to Frankfurt easily using the following travel option:

  • By bus: After going through customs and getting your luggage walk outside of the airport building, just in front you will find the bus station to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. The trip takes about 90 minutes and costs around EUR 12. From the Hauptbahnhof follow the instructions above.
