Sprachcaffe gives you the choice of staying with a host family in Malta - St. Julians. you can also choose to stay in private residences by staying with a host family. Choose between single and double rooms, inclusive of half board. In high season single rooms are not available. A great advantage of staying with a Maltese family is that you will have ample opportunity to practice the English you learn in class and benefit from a 'total immersion' experience.
Maltese families tend to be warm and friendly, providing a safe and comfortable environment for you to practise your English. You will also get the chance to sample traditional Maltese cuisine and learn about local customs. The cuisine is strongly influenced by Mediterranean flavours, in addition to Moorish and British touches. Breakfast tends to be "continental", consisting of toast, butter, jam and tea. Dinner is the main meal for the Maltese. Our family houses are all located near the language school in Malta, usually within a 20-minute walk, although it may be necessary for some to catch a bus.
