When Brighton became a favorite vacation spot of the Royal Family in the 18th century, much of the high class English society followed suit. Geography and Climate
Brighton is located in the south of England, on the eastern coast. The region enjoys a mild, sunny climate sunny and warm periods most of the time.
In the winter months, however, the temperature can drop rather low with frequent raining periods.

| Originally a small fishing village, some parts of Brighton still have the old fashioned feel. To experience it, visit the "Lanes", a collection of narrow alleys now filled with antique shops, restaurants, bistros and pubs.
