The Antoni Tàpies Foundation is found in what was a publishing house designed by the great modernist architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner in 1880 and is an institution featuring contemporary art. With many collections of drawings, paintings and sculptures, it also has temporary exhibitions and an excellent library which has attained world-wide status. The building itself features an avant garde sculpture of the founder himself.
