The Barcelona Picasso Museum is housed in four of the beautiful medieval stone mansions on Carrer de Montcada in the city's old part of town. The Museum holds many of Picasso's works of art works and masterpieces, many of which he donated or which were later contributed by his widow. Not far from the Museum is a bar in which Picasso used to meet with other artists and intellectuals of his time.
