Spaniards in general tend to eat late and Barcelona is no
different. At lunchtime, restaurants in Barcelona open between
1 pm and 4 pm for evening meals, they will reopen at around
8pm until midnight, maybe even later.
Make sure to check what days the restaurants close –
in Barcelona they generally do not open to the public on Sundays
or Mondays.
It may be a good idea to make reservations at very popular
restaurants (by phone or in person).
