Host family
If you
book your stay with a host-family, you will be able to experience
the German way of life and practice what you have learned
in school. Sharing customs and traditions is a great way of
adding to your language studies. It is considered a nice gesture
to bring your family a small gift.
Most
German host-families are open-minded, helpful, and friendly.
On your first day, the family will introduce you to the household:
keys, eating times, washing machine, etc. The families provide
bed sheets, but every student should bring his/her own towels.
You'll have the option of booking breakfast
or half-board, and only single rooms are available.
