The Outdoor Sculpture Museum
The project for this museum began in 1968, envisioned and brought to life by José Antonio Fernández Ordóñez, Julio Martínez Calzón and Eusebio Sempere. The exhibition stands under a bridge that was built to connect two streets, Juan Bravo and Eduarddo Dato. The project's engineers, Ordóñez and Calzón were involved with the construction of the 320m-long and 16m-wide flyover. It was Sempere's wish to bring modern art closer to the public by having the Museum in such a central location.
The Museum houses works by well-known artists such as Joan Miró, Martín Chirrino and Pablo Serrano.
