Fontainebleau History Museum

This is a museum that is truly rich in history. With no less than eight centuries of history, Fontainebleau existed from the times of French king Saint Louis to Napoleon III. It features a Renaissance room and royal suites. There are separate smaller museums within, such as the Chinese Museum and the Museum of Napoleon the First. The museum also features a collection of paintings by artists such as Dubois, Boucher, Rosso and Primatice.

Opening Times: 9:30 am to 5:00 pm Sunday to Monday from October to May; 9:30am to 6:00 pm Sunday to Monday in summer.

Admission: Full price € 5.50. Admission free for those under 18 years and for all first Sunday each month.
