Attractions in Paris
Île de France
Île de France, or Island of France, is a small region surrounding Paris that today is a very popular one-day excursion or trip, for both tourists and Parisian’s themselves. The region features many attractions of all sorts, from serene woodlands which are perfect for those who love to go hiking and EuroDisney to charming historical towns with their particular architecture.
The Château de Versailles is also to be found here. This grand palace was built in the mid-17th century when Louis XIV was the king of France and has wonderful gardens adorned with statues, fountains and ponds, an endless number of halls and rooms and the famous Hall of Mirrors, where balls and dances were held.
Come and see this impressive palace or walk through the pretty woodlands while learning French at a French Language Course in Paris.
