Getting to Düsseldorf
The airport is only 8 kilometers north of the city. There are two means of transport that will leave you in the center of town: trains and bus.
Train
The the airport railway station is connected to the network of German and European railways; each day about 350 trains pass through this station. A monorail train,the SkyTrain, links the station with the terminal building. The S7 train connects the airport with the city in Solingen-Ohligs.
Bus
The bus station is in front of the arrivals area with numerous regional connections. From the airport you can travel to Aachen, Krefeld, and so on. To reach the center of the city you should take the bus 721, which goes to the central train station in Dusseldorf and from there to Tannenhof.
