Course structure

A part-time course at our Sprachcaffe Languages PLUS school in Toronto will provide you with a useful insight into the language as you will be placed in an Integrated Skills class at your level for your first week of lessons where you will cover reading, writing, listening and speaking. These lessons usually begin at 09.00 but this may vary from school to school. After your first week, you can choose to change to an Active Listening course, which focuses on listening, speaking and colloquial language or one of our elective courses which focus on particular areas such as grammar, English for business and examination preparation. These other courses are generally held later in the day so you can choose a theme and time that fit your needs.

A textbook is followed for this course to ensure uniformity and quality. Students who would like to change themes or add more lessons to their course should speak to an administrative staff member at the school.
