Holders of passports from countries belonging to the European Union do not need visas to travel to Morocco as tourists. Only a passport valid for at least 6 months and return ticket are needed.
To these are added nationals of Andorra, Algeria, Bahrain, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Congo, Ivory Coast, Croatia, Guinea, Iceland, Indonesia, Korea, Kuwait, Libya, Liechtenstein, Mali, Monaco, New Zealand, Niger, Norway, Oman, Peru, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Singapore, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Venezuela, which do not require visas for stays of up to 3 months. Nationals of Hong Kong do not require it for stays of up to 30 days.
Visas are valid for 3 months. However, if visitors want to stay longer, they must apply for permission at the police office during the first 15 days of their stay in Morocco (except nationals of France and Spain who can stay for an unlimited period provided that they inform the police within the first 3 months).The cost is about 24 euros and can be paid at the Embassy or Consulate after turning in the completed application form, passport with at least one blank page and photocopy of the page with personal information, 4 passport-size photos, payment of fees , photocopies of your airline reservations, a photocopy of the hotel bookings, letter from the employer or the school.
