From Ciampino Airport to Rome
Ciampino Airport is situated around 12 km southeast of central Rome. These are your travel options to the city center:
- By train: There is a train leaving from Ciampino Rail Station every 20/30 minutes. The first train leaves at 5:30 am, the last train at 10:33 pm. The journey from Ciampino Airport to Rome Termini Station and vice versa takes around 15 minutes.
- By bus: Terravision operates buses leaving from the airport's terminal to the station of Termini. You can buy your ticket online: www.terravision.eu
From Fiumicino Airport to Rome
Rome-Fiumicino Airport, which is also known as Leonardo da Vinci Airport, is 32 km away from the city, and is easily accessible thanks to public transport. Here is how you can reach the center of Rome:
- By train: There is a non-stop train called “Leonardo Express” travelling from/to the Airport to Roma Termini Station (main station). The trains leave every 30 minutes and the journey takes about 35 minutes. The first train from the Airport to Roma Termini Station leaves at 6:36 am, the last train at 23:36 pm. The first train from Roma Termini Station to the Airport leaves at 5:52 am, the last train at 22:52 pm.
