Visa Options Australia
If you wish to work and travel in Australia, cross your fingers and check out the listing on the website of the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship. Those who hold citizenship in the countries listed are eligible to apply for the Working Holiday Visa. With this visa young travelers aged between 18 and 30 will have the possibility to work and travel all around Australia for up to 12 months.
It is also possible to apply for a 2nd WHV if you can prove to have worked as a working-holiday visa holder for at least 3 months in remote areas in Australia.
But we also have good news for young passionate travelers who are not allowed to apply for the WHV, but are keen to gain some work&travel experience DownUnder:
Our Study-n-Work Package includes a 2-week English course at the language school in Sydney plus all services as listed in our Basic Starter Package. If you apply for a student visa, you will have the possibility to work as a student 20h/ week and unlimited hours during your school holidays.
Also our WWOOF package and exciting volunteer projects all around the country offer you a fantastic possibility to work and travel around the country. As you won’t earn any money as a WWOOFer or volunteer, you can book in for these programs on a tourist visa.
If you rather want to gain some proper work experience at a reputable company in Sydney, you will have to apply for either the WHV, 416 special program visa or the Occupational Trainee Visa.
