The volunteer project in Tauranga close to Mt. Maunganui provides the conservation workers with an in-depth and hands-on experience of New Zealand culture and environment that reflects the interconnections between the people and the land.
Our volunteer program gives a first-hand experience of NZ in a project designed to be sustainable, encouraging visitors to give something back to the local community and environment that they have visited.
Our partner organization also has invaluable links with Maoris, the indigenous people of the area, local and regional councils and national bodies to ensure the volunteer programs assist their environmental management plan implementation.
