Health in Spain
Health Advice: The medical care service in Spain is extremely good and has excellent facilities and medical professionals. For more comfort and safety, private clinics are an alternative option, however, a rather more costly one. The best thing to do in this case is take out a temporary international health insurance, which will allow students to benefit from medical services free of charge in most cases.
Health Insurance: Every student should join a health plan. Applicants who are European Union nationals may, during their stay of not more than twelve months, continue receiving health insurance benefits of their home country’s health insurance. In that case either the E111 or the E128 forms must be taken by you to Spain. These forms are issued in your home country.
