For people traveling on a budget, Italy always offers the possibility of staying in youth hostels and eating cheaply with approximately 35 Euros per day.
For our students with a larger budget, staying at two-star hotels and eating in restaurants should be around 80 Euros daily.
Should you wish to stay in comfortable hotels, eat in restaurants and visit various museums, the budget will be about 120 Euros. If you prefer to travel and visit the country in car rental, the budget is multiplied by two.
In terms of traveler's checks, banks offer the best and most reliable exchange rates. Credit and debit cards are accepted at almost all establishments.
Usually the tip is included already so it is not necessay to tip in taxis or in restaurants.
