Paris - Art from Every Era
Traveling time: 1 or 2 weeks - 16.09 to 23.0.2018
A dream destination and particularly suitable for creative minds, Paris has been the spiritual home of thousands of artists for hundreds of years. We’ll ensure you get to know the heart of France intimately, from its renowned landmarks to its medieval alleyways, where there’s always a traditional creperie or talented busker waiting to be discovered. So then: Qui bien commence bien avance.

Activity Program
France is only a stone´s throw away from Germany. You can wake up in the morning, hop on a plane and be in the hustle and bustle of Paris before the clock strikes noon! Do you already know Paris? Have you been there many times? Then experience the Seine metropolis once again in a completely new way with our activity program!
Apart from the vocabulary, you won´t break a sweat in Paris. Quite the opposite: we want you to get to know the French language and everything else Paris stands for in an entertaining way: art, culture and cuisine all the way back to the 13th century!
The highlights are the guided tour of Versailles, a professional wine tasting and tours of the city's artistic districts. Paris is not only about the Eiffel tower, although it shouldn’t be missed despite all the clichés!
The school is located in a quiet street in the southeastern part of the 9th Arrondissement, the “Arrondissement de l’Opera”. The Boulevard Hausmann is situated nearby, with its many restaurants, cafés, shops and boutiques.
The Paris Opera, the Stock Exchange and many other culturally, historically and architecturally interesting buildings are located near our French school. The Metro station nearest the school is Grands Boulevards. Other attractions such as the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame can be reached quickly with public transport.
In addition to spacious and well-equipped classrooms, students have access to the following facilities in our Paris school:
- Reception
- Hall
- Library
- Cafeteria
- Internet access
We offer standard French courses at our school in Paris, and the maximum number of students in each French class is 12, ensuring a familiar and personal learning experience.

Why only participate in the cultural program if you can also refresh your French grammar and vocabulary skills in the morning? 20 lessons a week is ideal! Our teachers are all native speakers, so you’ll be in good hands to get your language skills warmed up and ready for the French "Get-to-know evening". We recommend you take the course as long as you have at least basic French knowledge (about B1).
Lessons Per Week* | Minimum Duration | Group size | |

A unique travel experience has to include an excellent hotel. Our package includes a cozy two star hotel, located right next to the school. Breakfast is included and the staff is friendly and attentive.
Alternatively, we offer you a newly renovated 3 star hotel, not even 200m from our school. The hotel offers all necessary comforts, a rich breakfast and comfortable rooms. With the "Planet 21" program, this hotel actively contributes to a good environmental balance and aims to ensure a Paris that future generations will be able to enjoy just as much as you.

Day 1
Whether you are traveling by train or by plane, you will get to your hotel in the center of Paris quickly.
Day 2
Your language course starts on Monday. Afterwards, you will be greeted with champagne in typical Parisian style and quickly get to know the city center thanks to a guided tour (including, for example, Notre Dame Cathedral, a Gothic architectural masterpiece from the 13th century).
Day 3
An excursion to an altitude of 115m is also an excursion into modernity. We’ll show you the Paris imagined by Gustave Eiffel and take you to a landmark that was far ahead of its time.
Day 4
They have always shaped the art of France: the Parisian cabarets, opens and ball houses! Let’s discover the theater and enjoy the arts.
Day 5
Almost as sweet as love in the city of romance, the love the Parisians have for their chocolate is completely justified, with local chocolatiers creating produce so good it gives the Swiss competition a run for its money! Get to know all about the history and the production of 'brown gold' and try it yourself.
Day 6
Degas, Monet, Cézanne… - we could go on listing the outstanding impressionist artists whose works grace the walls of Paris’ museums. But you should learn for yourself on our visit to the Musée d'Orsay.
Day 7
Saturday’s theme: the 17th century. Enjoy a guided tour of the Royal King's Palace, be enchanted by the splendor of the mirrored room and inspired by the enormous proportions of the castle park.
Day 8
After so much high baroque, you have earned yourself a little break. On Sunday you get free time to spend as you wish.
Day 9
It belongs to France like the Matterhorn to Switzerland: During a professional tasting, you will learn everything about French wine and how it best complements Parisian cuisine.
Day 10
After the language lessons, we’ll visit the Invalides. Napoleon is not the only historical figure buried here, and there are also many other relics to discover from different eras.
Day 11 and 12
In order to give you an impression of the Parisian art of today, on Wednesday and Thursday we’ll take you to the high fortresses of the city: Montmartre and Marais. Where artists and acrobats are around every corner - you can’t miss out.
Day 13
End on a high: We’ll take you to one of the most famous jazz bars, where greats like Cab Calloway and Lionel Hampton have played.
Day 14
We bid you farewell and expect you’ll be returning soon after falling in love with Paris.
