Our School in St. Julian's
Our English school in St. Julian's is located in the exclusive Club Village, Sprachcaffe's privately-owned learning environment. Not only does the large facility include several fully-equipped classrooms, there are also a variety of carefully designed apartments for students to stay in.
And that's not all... On the grounds of the English school, we are also lucky enough to have a restaurant and a bar where parties are held in the evening. And the list of facilities doesn't stop there... A beach volleyball court, large shaded garden and huge swimming pool can be found outside, offering everyone an opportunity to unwind, have fun and cool off without even leaving our premises. For those who just want to lounge around and cool off indoors, we have a TV room with satellite channels as well as a selection of DVDs, as well as a games room with a pool table.
For the adventurous, we also work with a scuba diving center, which offers taster courses for beginners as well as sessions for more advanced divers.

English lessons are conducted in small groups with a maximum of 15 students per class. The course materials are provided for the duration of your stay. Course Details
At our school in Malta we offer English courses for students with diverse language levels - from absolute beginners to advanced learners. In order to accurately determine each student's English level and place them in the correct class, we ask them to complete a free online language assessment test prior to starting their course. By determining your language level before the beginning of the course, we can prevent you from being under- or overchallenged.
An effective language course needs extremely competent and experienced teachers. Sprachcaffe's teachers are qualified native English speakers who are dedicated to helping each and every student reach their desired language level in a fun and easy way. The emphasis in these English classes is on communication and participation, along with creativity and enjoyment.

Our English Courses
At St. Julian's we offer four types of English courses: standard, intensive, A-levels, and additional specialised skills or topics (electives). Which course you should choose really depends on your current ability and how fast you want to improve. If you want to spend more time in the classroom and less time by the pool, then go for an intensive course. If you want to learn at a more relaxed pace, then the standard course will suit you better.
Both the standard and the intense course types focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing comprehension, as well as speaking practice (especially in the intense course). The great thing about studying English in Malta is that students get the chance to explore the island in their free time and can use their experiences outside the classroom as discussion material in class. We use a student-centered method of teaching, allowing the pace and topics of the classes to be dictated primarily by the students.

In our language courses in Malta you can influence the structure of the lessons and suggest topics you are interested in. In order to provide learning variety, some lessons are held at the side of our beautiful pool. To ensure that time is used effectively, we will send you the link to our online test before the beginning of trip. Then your are ready to start your first class on Monday! Once you have successfully completed your language course you will receive a certificate confirming your participation.

In addition to the language course, a successful language study trip also includes accommodation in which to feel comfortable. The St. Julian's Holiday Camp offers two different options: our Club Village or a local homestay/private accommodation.
Regardless of which you choose, both options include full board, which consists of breakfast, lunch on campus, and a hot dinner.

The evening programme leaves nothing to be desired. Experience beach and boat parties, karaoke or comedy nights. At our legendary student parties, you will have the best time with your new international friends. Combine learning and fun
After your English lessons you have the opportunity to take part in great workshops and extracurricular activities. Our camps and workshops then take place from 13:00 to 14:30. Afterwards, there is still plenty of time to lie in the sun or explore the area.
Please note: The English lessons of the Standard Course end at 12:15 every day, allowing you to take part in our camps and workshops. If you book an Intensive English Course, you will unfortunately not be able to participate since they take place at the same time. The maths and football camps are held in German and, if necessary, partly in English.
