Judith de Wit's Experience in Sprachcaffe Calabria
What a great spot this is! The school is situated in a beautiful garden and the lessons take place outside (if it’s not raining, but that didn’t happen!). The day always starts with a wonderful cappuccino made by the director himself: Rosario. Also fresh fruits are picked from the garden and you can eat them.
The lessons are very pleasant and useful! The teachers are very good. Even though it was low season, the school still organized some nice things like a welcome dinner, a dinner at the school on Thursday evening and, for example, an excursion to the beautiful Pizzo. It feels like being part of a family here.
Also Calabria is a very nice place. I’ve never seen a sea as blue and clear as here! There are also some nice towns to visit, like Tropea, Pizzo and Scilla. The people are very kind and the food (and the wine!) are very affordable. I spent two wonderful weeks here and parlo un poco italiano à desso!
