18 Mor e i n f orma t i on can be f ound a t www. sc - t rave l -adventures . co.uk TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CAR HIRE IN COSTA RICA • Vehicle: You can only book a car hire category; we cannot guarantee a specific model, since the cars are rented out on-site and subject to availability. The minimum rental period is three days. One day is defined and charged as 24 hours. Our car hire prices include unlimited mileage. • Vehicle equipment: Mobile WIFI can be rented for 10 USD/day. This is subject to a security deposit of 100 USD. GPS can be rented for 9 USD/day with a security deposit of 250 USD. Child car-seats can also be rented for 3 USD/day. As there is a limited amount of devices available, we recommend booking in advance. • Pick-up/ drop-off: The vehicle must be returned with a full tank of petrol. If the pick-up location differs from the drop-off location, there will be a one-way fee. • Driver: Driver must be 21 and over. A national driving licence is sufficient. When picking up the car the driving licence needs to be valid for at least 2 years. Additional drivers will be charged 4 USD per additional driver per day. • Deposit: A security deposit of 750 USD must be paid by credit card (AMEX, Visa, or Mastercard) prior to rental. Provided there is no damage to the vehicle, this amount will be refunded in full at the end of the rental period. • Insurance: The insurances "Primary Liability for Third Party Damages" and "Loss Damage Waiver" are included in all our vehicles. An extended insurance (Supplemental Protection Plan) can be issued.
