The Port is found at the end of the Las Ramblas boulevard, with the tower of Colon as its most dominant feature. From the top of the tower you can take in a breathtakingly beautiful view of the city.  The massive port has an extensive history, and it is still important for trade purposes.  The picturesque Port Vell, or Old Harbor, area is popular among tourists and contains a mall, cinema and aquarium.
