Homestay Accommodation

Overview Homestay
  • Learning after the language course
  • Intensive insight into everyday life
  • Single or double rooms
  • School is usually accessible with the bus or train
Staying in a private home requires a certain amount of flexibility, but it also offers the best opportunity for you to immediately apply what you've learned in the language course. You'll also get a more of an insight into the lifestyle, traditions and culture of your host country and the habits of its residents.

We carefully select host families according to the following factors:
  • The distance between the host family and the school
  • The standard of accommodation
A Host family might be two parents with children, single parents with children or adults without children. However, they are all caring and look forward to welcoming students to their home. They have all been carefully chosen and are located in appropriate residential areas in or around Brighton & Hove. Student bedrooms all have comfortable beds and storage for clothes. All families offer wifi, are non-smoking and can do laundry for their students.
For junior students (age 12 - 17), homestay is in twin rooms, sharing with another student of the same gender and is on a full board basis.
For adult students (age 18+) homestay is in single or twin rooms and either full or half board option is available, offering breakfast, (packed lunch) and a well-balanced evening meal with the family. It is possible that your homestay may be located a little further away from the school. Therefore, there may be additional costs for the use of the public transportation system. If you are staying in London, the current price of a single bus fare using an Oyster Card or contactless payment card is £1.50 (subject to change). For further information, please go to www.tfl.gov.uk
