Tourist Attractions in Mallorca
Cathedral La Seu - The Gothic Cathedral (La Seu) in Palma de Mallorca rises above the harbour like a giant ship and is as beautiful close up as it is from afar. Building work on it started in 1230 and lasted for nearly 400 years.
Castell de Bellver - The best view of Palma can be seen from the Castell de Bellver. From the castle’s flat roof you can admire the 360 degree view of the whole city, the bay and the surrounding countryside.
Es Baluard Museum - Palma’s latest museum is Es Baluard, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, built on the remaining site of the 16th century Bastio de Sant Pere. In addition to the art collection, the setting is also beautiful, right on Passeig Maritim with stunning views across the harbour, with the cathedral on one side and Castell de Bellver on the other.
