Visa for Malta

European Union citizens planning to travel to Malta do not need any special documentaiton. Nationals of other countries must have other requirements that will explain below.
Countries that have been placed in the following list have no need to possess a visa to enter Malta for visits of up to 90 days: Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Cyprus, Korea, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, USA, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, Norway, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom and Commonwealth, Romania, San Marino, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Uruguay, Vatican.
The other countries which are not included in this list must apply for a visa, provided by the Immigration Police in Malta. The procedure for applying for a visa to travel to Malta requires a time of plus or minus four weeks. Children under 16 need permission from parents or are registered in the passport of the same.
