Our Language School in Havana
Sprachcaffe - Languages Plus was founded in
1983 and we are proud to say that we have been very successful
in these past twenty years. Catering for six languages, namely
English, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Chinese, you
will find our Language Schools located in 11 different countries.
La Habana is Cuba’s economic, cultural,
and political centre. The city enjoys the greatest cultural
heritage of Cuba and is the most wonderful former Spanish
colonial complex in the Americas. You will be overwhelmed
by the wealth of historical monuments and the boisterous friendliness
of the Cuban people.
The unique joyful culture of Cuba derives its
roots from the Caribbean, African, and Spanish traditions.
There are museums, monuments, fortresses, palaces and traces
of history all over the island. The old town of Havana is
protected by UNESCO as a site of cultural and historical importance;
the responsibility of maintaining and restoring its infrastructure
lies in the hands of its people whose attempts to preserve
the old town are clearly prioritized despite the difficult
economic situation.
The Cuban people are warm friendly people and
we are offering you a unique opportunity to become familiarized
with Cuban society and culture.
Our school is located in Miramar, the residential embassy
area of Havana and founded in 2001, it is one of our newest
schools, offering more than beautiful classrooms; from the
lounge, to the cafeteria, to online connection, everything
is at your disposal.
Our Aparthotel – equipped with living room, kitchen,
TV and AC – is located in a beautiful area of Miramar
which is the noble coastline-district of Havana with major
hotels, embassies, international companies and a vivid nightlife
with bars and clubs.
