La formazione del Present Pefect

Per formare il present perfect, è necessario il verbo have o has. A seconda del pronome personale a cui ci si riferisce. È necessario anche il participio passato del verbo che si vuole usare nel past perfect. Per il participio passato, nel caso normale, basta aggiungere il suffisso -ed al verbo. Osservate la seguente formula per la formazione del Present Perfect:

Verbi irregolari nel Present Perfect

Esistono diverse irregolarità nel Present Perfect. Tuttavia, queste irregolarità si verificano solo in relazione al participio passato. Se non avete ancora avuto a che fare con il participio passato durante l'apprendimento dell'inglese, dovrete assolutamente farlo durante l'apprendimento del present perfect. Mettere insieme il pronome personale e il verbo nel Present Perfect

Nell'inglese parlato si usa spesso una forma abbreviata del present perfect, combinando il pronome personale e il verbo ausiliare have/has. Al negativo, si deve notare che la parola not è combinata con il verbo have nella forma abbreviata e trasformata in haven't.
