The D.E.L.E. exam (Diploma de Español Como Lengua Extranjera) is issued and recognised by the Ministry of Education of Spain and offers an official accreditation on the degree of mastery of the Spanish language.

Over the course of 20 lessons students develop verbal and written forms of communication, and the focus is on understanding grammar. For the preparation of a particular exam, our teachers will familiarize you with the order and structure of the D.E.L.E. exam by using a variety of examples and exercises.

The D.E.L.E. exam consists of the following parts:

There are three different levels of DELE:

  • Certificado Inicial de Español
  • Diploma Básico de Español
  • Diploma Superior de Español

The exam tests the ability of the candidate to read, write, speak and understand Spanish. Candidates should be able to cope with situations which require a predictable use of language, read simple textbooks and articles and write simple personal letters, or make notes during a meeting. The D.E.L.E. exams are held three times a year. Examination fees and costs for educational material are not included in the course price.
