Answers to your questions

Yes, Barcelona is generally considered a relatively safe city for travellers of all ages. As in any large city, it is important to remain alert. Since Barcelona is a popular tourist destination, special attention should be paid to personal belongings, especially in busy areas such as La Rambla and at the beaches. At night, it is advisable to avoid dark or quiet streets and to explore the city in company where possible.

As part of our Spanish language programmes, younger participants are not allowed to go out on their own and are always accompanied by experienced supervisors, ensuring safety, guidance and a well-organised stay.

Yes. If you plan to stay in Barcelona for more than 90 days, you can apply for a student visa that includes a work permit. This allows you to work up to 20 hours per week alongside your language course. It's a great way to gain experience and support your stay while learning Spanish.

We have a dedicated team of teachers; many of whom come from Spain, or other Spanish-speaking countries, all of whom are very well qualified, have years of experience and have a teaching permit. Our teachers come from all walks of life. Apart from the teaching qualifications which everyone has, we have teachers with backgrounds in banking, psychology, law, and teacher training. They're enthusiastic, approachable, and create an engaging learning environment where you'll feel comfortable and make real progress.

Our team speaks several languages, including German, Spanish, English and Catalan. You can always ask questions or get help in a language you're comfortable with.

Barcelona is located just 13 km from El Prat de Llobregat Airport.

The city is easily accessible from Barcelona Airport, with a taxi ride taking around 20 minutes or 30-40 minutes by Aerobus. Once in the city, getting around is simple - either on foot or using the extensive metro, bus, and tram network. With just one ticket, you can access the entire public transport system. Barcelona also serves as a great base for exploring the rest of Catalonia, with frequent trains and buses to popular destinations like Sitges, Tarragona, and other nearby attractions.

There is an option for a transfer from the airport or train station to the school. A one-way transfer costs 45 EUR.
