Travelling to China is straightforward thanks to excellent international connections. Beijing, home to our Sprachcaffe school, is one of Asia's best-connected cities and easily reachable from all parts of the world.
From Europe (EU):
Many direct flights operate daily from major European cities to Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) or the new Beijing Daxing Airport (PKX). Airlines such as Lufthansa, Air France, British Airways, Finnair, and Turkish Airlines regularly serve these routes. Flights from hubs like Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam, and London typically take around 9-11 hours. Upon arrival, our local team can arrange a smooth airport transfer to your accommodation.
From Latin America:
Travelling from Latin America usually involves one or two connections, most commonly via European or North American hubs. Airlines like LATAM, Iberia, Air Canada, and United Airlines offer convenient options. You'll fly into PEK or PKX and continue your journey by transfer organised by Sprachcaffe or via public transport.
From Asia:
Beijing is a key gateway in Asia. Direct flights from cities like Tokyo, Seoul, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore are frequent and often under five hours. Regional carriers such as China Southern, Cathay Pacific, ANA, and Thai Airways make travel fast and efficient.
Local Travel in China:
Once in Beijing, you'll find travel within the city both easy and affordable. The Beijing Metro is extensive, modern, and has English signage. Taxis and Didi (China's version of Uber) are widely available. For weekend trips, you can use the high-speed rail network to explore cities like Tianjin, Xi'an or even Shanghai with comfort and speed.
From the moment you arrive, Sprachcaffe is here to support you. We'll help you settle in and show you how to make the most of your time-on campus and beyond.
