Exchange Student Integration Coordinator (m/f/x)
Are you passionate about working with young people, interested in different cultures, and motivated to support international students? Then we would love to hear from you!
We are looking for dedicated individuals to support international exchange students during their stay in Germany and help them integrate into school, host families, and everyday life.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide personal support and guidance to exchange students during their stay in Germany
- Assist with integration into school, host family, and leisure activities
- Serve as a contact person for homesickness, cultural adjustment challenges, and personal concerns
- Facilitate communication between students, host families, and schools
- Conduct host family interviews (initial and placement interviews)
- Maintain regular contact with local schools
- Prepare a short monthly report on students' integration and language progress
Your Profile
- Enjoy working with teenagers and young adults
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Empathy, reliability, and intercultural competence
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Good German language skills (written and spoken)
- Experience in education, youth work, or intercultural exchange is an advantage, but not required
