If you are a non-EU citizen and enrolled in a long-term language course (usually 12 weeks or more), you may be eligible to apply for a student visa that includes limited work permission. That depends on your nationality and the length of your stay. If you are an EU or EEA citizen, you do not need a visa to study in Frankfurt. The city's central location also makes it an ideal base for exploring other parts of Germany, with regular train services to destinations like Heidelberg, Mainz, and the Rhine Valley.
