Most visitors from the EU, UK, USA, Canada, and several Latin American and Asian countries do not need a visa to study in Morocco for up to 90 days. You'll receive a tourist entry stamp upon arrival, which is valid for your language course.

If you plan to stay longer, or if you're from a country that requires a visa, we recommend contacting your local Moroccan embassy. Sprachcaffe provides confirmation letters for enrolled students, which may support your visa application. Be sure to check passport validity - your passport should be valid for at least 6 months past your planned stay.

Working while attending a language course in Morocco is generally not permitted on a tourist visa. The Moroccan immigration system does not allow short-term students to take up employment.

If you are interested in staying longer for professional or volunteer work, you will need a different type of visa, such as a work permit or residence visa, which must be arranged prior to travel. However, your stay in Morocco can still be an excellent opportunity for networking and personal development through intercultural exchange.

Morocco is well-connected and easy to reach from all major regions. From Europe, you'll find frequent direct flights from cities like London, Paris, Frankfurt, Rome and Madrid to Moroccan destinations such as Rabat, Marrakech, Fes and Casablanca. Both low-cost carriers and national airlines, including Ryanair, Vueling, easyJet, Air France and Royal Air Maroc, operate these routes year-round.

Travellers from North and South America typically connect via European hubs. Flights with stopovers in Madrid, Lisbon or Paris are the most common, with major airlines like Iberia, TAP Portugal and Air France offering smooth transitions. Royal Air Maroc also provides direct connections from major cities such as New York, Montreal and São Paulo, depending on the season.

From Asia, Morocco is accessible with one-stop flights via major Middle Eastern hubs like Istanbul, Doha and Dubai. Airlines such as Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways and Emirates offer efficient and comfortable routes to Morocco.

Once in the country, travelling is easy. High-speed trains connect major cities, and long-distance buses reach smaller towns. In cities, petit taxis and ride-hailing apps like Careem are convenient. Sprachcaffe also offers organised airport transfers, helping you start your journey stress-free.
