Get Ready for the Experience of a Lifetime
At Sprachcaffe, we help you get ready for your Au Pair adventure step by step. Before you leave, we give you helpful travel tips, cultural information, and personal support. If you need a visa, we will help you fill out the forms and prepare the documents. When you arrive in your host country, you'll have a local contact person who is there for you if you have questions or need help.
You will live with a carefully selected host family and help them with childcare and small tasks around the house. At the same time, you can join a language course to improve your skills. The course is usually planned around your working hours. Sprachcaffe gives you a special discount, and in many countries, the host family also pays part of the course fee.
With clear agreements, friendly support, and the chance to learn and live abroad, Sprachcaffe makes sure your Au Pair experience is fun, safe, and unforgettable.

Host family
Living with a host family is an important part of your Au Pair experience. It gives you the chance to truly get to know the culture, practice the language every day, and feel at home in a new country.
All host families are carefully selected by Sprachcaffe. We make sure they are open-minded, responsible, and happy to welcome an Au Pair into their home. The matching process considers your preferences, experience, and personality.
As an Au Pair, you receive free accommodation in your own room, full meals, and a monthly allowance. You help the family mainly with childcare and light household tasks, and in return, you're treated as a trusted member of the family.
Daily life includes shared meals, routines, and often weekend activities. Working hours, tasks, and free time are clearly defined in your agreement. And if you ever need help, Sprachcaffe's local team is always there for you.
