At Sprachcaffe Málaga, your Spanish journey begins with a personalized placement test to ensure you're placed in the course level that best fits your needs. You'll learn from passionate, native Spanish-speaking teachers who bring energy and expertise to every lesson. The lessons usually take place in the morning and combine grammar, vocabulary, and culture in a fun and practical way. Barbatuke is located in the charming Pedregalejo neighborhood, just a 10-minute walk from the school. This location is perfect if you prefer staying close to your lessons and enjoy a peaceful, local vibe. The area features quaint streets, lovely cafés, and is just a short walk from the beach.
Resa is situated in the lively city center of Málaga, where you'll fully immerse yourself in urban life. From here, you can reach the school in about 20 minutes by bus. This location is ideal for those who love vibrancy: shops, restaurants, and nightlife are all within easy reach.
Both accommodations are easily accessible, comfortable, and offer a great base for your Spanish language course in Spain.

From cultural excursions such as the Picasso Museum and the Gibralfaro Castle to fun sports activities, games, dance lessons, and lively parties, no day is the same! The city has a low crime rate, and tourist areas such as the city center and the beach are well monitored. In addition, we have experienced supervisors present during your stay to ensure everything runs smoothly and that young people feel safe and supported with Sprachcaffe.
If you are learning Spanish in Málaga, there's always something exciting waiting for you! You start the week with an introductory tour and a fun welcome party. Every morning you attend language lessons, and in the afternoon you explore the city. Visit landmarks such as the Picasso Museum, located in his birthplace, stroll or shop through the charming streets, or join a delicious tapas tour or spend an afternoon at the beach. For longer stays, we offer extra activities, and for some activities, a small fee may apply.
Our teachers in Málaga are highly qualified professionals with decades of experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
- Mª Ángeles García Medina has over 35 years of teaching experience and is a certified DELE examiner (levels A1-B2), with specialized training in didactics and pedagogy.
- Asunción Delgado Manzanares, with 31 years of experience, holds a degree in Hispanic Philology and is accredited to examine all DELE levels.
- Auxiliadora Duarte Casesnoves has more than 30 years of experience, with a background in Philosophy, Educational Sciences, and audiovisual teaching methods.
All our teachers receive ongoing professional development, are certified by the Instituto Cervantes, and speak Spanish and English (some also speak French). They combine pedagogical expertise with a personal, student-centered approach to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
Our staff speaks several languages, including Spanish, German, English, French, and Dutch, so you can always communicate in a language you feel comfortable with.
Málaga is located 8 km from Málaga Airport.
Málaga is easily accessible from Málaga Airport, about 20 minutes by taxi or just over an hour by bus. Once in Málaga, getting around is easy on foot, by bus, or by metro. The city is a central location for exploring other parts of the Costa del Sol. Regular buses run to popular destinations such as Marbella, Torremolinos, and other nearby attractions.
For juniors, please purchase transfers from the Airport/Station to the school. One way transfer costs 30 EUR.
