Fraternity Park

Located on what was once a training camp used for military drills and exercises, this former Campo de Marte was turned into the American Fraternity Park in 1929, the year in which the Pan-American Congreso was held in Havana. This is a beautiful green space downtown with many trees and shrubbery and also monuments dedicated to national heroes. The park’s name is derived from a dedication honoring the roots that unite American peoples in general.

Address: Reina and San José St. Old Havana. Havana.

When on your Language Trip in Havana to learn Spanish be sure to enjoy an afternoon observing locals in this unique green scenery.
