Clothes in Havana

If you look around, you’ll see that despite the little money Cubans have to spend on clothes, they do take pride in what they wear and in their appearance.

Taking the weather into consideration, the best recommendation for tourists regarding the clothes to bring to the island would be mostly light clothes made of cool fabrics and materials, such as cotton. Cuba usually has high temperatures with considerable humidity, given its geographical position. Even so, it may be a good idea to pack a few sweaters or light jackets if you are going during the fall and winter seasons.

Even though on holiday, you should try and respect certain dress codes such as not walking around topless or going out on the town in shorts.
