Vancouver, otherwise known as "Hollywood North", is located in the province British Columbia at the west coast of Canada. It received this nickname due to the fact that it has the third biggest film industry in North America. From celebrities and outstanding art and cultural scenes to one of a kind sports and free time activities, the city has everything your heart could desire.
You can decide how long you would like book your stay for. Your language course can last for up to 12 months. It is also possible to lengthen your stay upon request.
Our Gap Year language courses
If you pick the Standard course you will have 4 lessons per day, each of which will take place before noon. Picking the Intensive course means that you will have lessons both before noon and in part of the afternoon. All lessons will run from Mondays until Fridays. The prices cover the language course, your placement test and your course completion certificate. These prices are only applicable when booking at least full weeks of accommodation with Sprachcaffe. Further information about course and accommodation types can be obtained upon request.
Our language school
Our language school itself already has a lot of great views to offer you, such as the exceptional view on the ocean and the surrounding mountains. The school is located in the heart of Vancouver in its famous Gastown district. Bus stops, the Skytain as well as plenty of shops and the Stanley Park are all accessible by foot. In addition there is also a little library for students to study for their lessons in.
The building holds 10 comfortable rooms that have inbuilt air conditioning, an area to eat in and a kitchen. Students will also have access to a computer room with free internet access and they will also be provided with WIFI throughout the entire building.
