Before you enter your course we will ask you to take a placement test in order to determine which language course suits your current abilities best. You will then be placed in the appropriate course. There will be plenty of time for you to practice your newly gained English skills with the locals, while exploring the famous metropolis. Your 4 daily lessons take place before noon so that you are free in the afternoons and can go on sight seeing trips or part take in any of the countless activities New York has to offer. It goes without saying that you will receive a completion certificate when you finish your course.
Our Gap Year language courses
Our English language school in New York offers both Standard and Intensive course types so that you can improve and perfect your English speaking abilities. Our New York English courses cater to all skill levels from beginners to people with advanced language experience. On the first day you will be required to take your placement test in order for us to be able to allocate you to the appropriate language course.
Lessons will take place from Mondays until Fridays and will be taught by our qualified teachers, all of which are native English speakers and lead our language courses with great attention to their students' needs. Apart from linguistic and educational competence, our teachers also all have a kind approach to teaching which will make your lessons very pleasant every day. Each lesson will be different as your teachers ensure that all of the different learning styles are addressed. At the end of your course you will receive a language course completion certificate from us.

Our language school
The location of our language school recently changed and it can now be found inside the Whitehall Building, which was built in 1904. When looking out of the building you will have a great view on Battery park, Hudson river and even onto the statue of liberty! The building was named after Peter Stuyvesant's house called "White Hall", which is not too far away from where our language school is located now.
