Gap Year in Madrid
Madrid is the capital of Spain and also the place that embodies the country's spirit the most. If it is your goal to fully get to know and feel the Spanish way of life you will definitely enjoy your stay in Madrid!
Our usual courses only take place before noon, leaving most of the day for you to plan and do anything you wish. There are plenty of cultural sights to be seen and free time activities to participate in after you have finished your daily lessons. In the summer it is also possible for you to choose to take courses in the afternoon if you would prefer to wake up a bit later. You can negotiate the course planning with us beforehand in order to best suit the course times you would like, in case you want to take siestas at noon.
Our Gap Year langauge courses
Your Gap Year language course content will vary depending on whether you choose the Standard or the Intensive course option. The Standard course contains 4 lessons per day before noon, while the Intensive course will give you 6 lessons per day that take place before noon and in the afternoon. The maximum amount of students per class is 10.
Taking Gap Year or sabbatical course abroad is also a great opportunity to find work in Spain. You will have time for either free time activities or work during the week, so you can create exactly the kind of stay abroad that you want.
When you finish your course you will receive a course completion certificate from Sprachcaffe.

Our language school
Our language school is located near the 'Calle Arenal' and the 'Puerta del Sol' in the lively city center of Madrid. The thick stone walls of the majestic community center protect the area from the noises of the large metropolis, making visits within the center very quiet and relaxing. This also makes it the ideal place for peaceful studying. You can also learn new Spanish vocabulary whilst gazing onto the beautiful capital of the city from the roof top of our school.
