Club Village in St. Julian's
St. Julian's is the heart of modern Malta. It has a lively waterfront promenade, bustling restaurants, and a vibrant social scene. This makes it one of the most energetic spots in the Mediterranean. On the edge of Pembroke, you’ll discover the SPRACHCAFFE Club Village. It’s an adult campus that combines rigorous language learning with authentic island life.
Our limestone buildings house air-conditioned classrooms, a library, and a study common room. Beyond them: a large swimming pool at the heart of campus, a restaurant and bar, a games room, and a beach volleyball court. This is a living community where adult students share not lessons, but days, meals, and conversations that stay with them long after they leave. A 24-hour reception means support is always on hand.
The coastline is a five-minute walk away, St. Julian's beach is ten minutes away, and UNESCO World Heritage Valletta is is just thirty minutes from campus. FELTOM accreditation — the mark of quality for English teaching in Malta — means you can book with complete confidence.

I came here to Upgrade my English. I totally loved it there. I met so many differnt people from all nations and made many friends. I had a great time relaxing in the Pool! I also really enjoyed the activities! The only aspects i would critisise are that the rooms are very small and dirty. I shared a room with another Girl, but the room was actually meant to hold 3 people. Neverthless, it was very small, even for two people. My friend shared a tiny room with 3 girls and claimed, she Couldn't unpack her suitcase due to the tiny room. Another one was that the woman, working at the education Office was very unfriendly. I wanted to go to a higher Level in my intensive class but she claimed i couln't because "there are mixed people in there, not only beginners". But for me it sounded more like she didn't have more work. I came to here the Last day of my stay, because there was an error on my certificate. In the end, it was improved. But another friend of mine had the Same Problem and she stayed another week, so she hasn't got her certificate yet. However, confronting the woman working there with the mistake on the certificate, she just snapped at my friend "Yea, but that is a future problem. Don't make assumptions about things, that haven't happened yet" As I have said, the woman was very unfriendly and I, this will be better in the future. Nevertheless, I really loved my stay at Sprachcaffe and would like to stay there for another week!
Staffs are nice. I’m satisfied with rooms, services consist pool, billiard, foods and drinks. This hotel has also a beautiful view and in my opinion, it’s suitable for travel groups at affordable prices (like family, students,…etc). A small suggestion from me is that you should spray insecticide to avoid insect bites to tourists. Maybe, one day i will return to this place with my family 🇲🇹😚💯
We traveled as a group of students with teachers for 1 week. We were extremely satisfied with the quality of lessons, the equipment of the school and the furnishings of the rooms. The campus is large, with nice gardens and a large swimming pool, which students have always enjoyed using. The food was in the form of buffet and there was always a good selection of food. During our stay, we had activities that were always excellently organized and the school staff was always available and willing to help with everything. Overall, we rate the stay in Malta and the Sprachcaffe school as excellent, and we are definitely going to come back. Thank you for your great service and we wish you many happy students.

A Language Study Trip in Malta for Adults
Learning English as an adult is a fundamentally different experience to studying it in school. You arrive with purpose, with professional context, and with a clear sense of what real progress looks like for you. At SPRACHCAFFE, we design our adult English courses in Malta with exactly this in mind. We welcome participants from their twenties through to their fifties and beyond - and because the campus is exclusively for adults, every part of the experience reflects that.
The quality of the people around you is one of the most consistently mentioned highlights in our feedback. Your classmates are not students filling a gap year. They are professionals, specialists, and independent-minded adults who have made a deliberate choice to invest a few weeks in themselves. Architects from Copenhagen, teachers from Lisbon, engineers from Warsaw - the conversations that happen around the dinner table or poolside carry the kind of breadth and depth you simply cannot replicate at home.
For those based in Germany or other European countries where educational leave legislation applies, our Malta programme is recognised for Bildungsurlaub purposes. Eligible employees can use this English language course in Malta as a certified period of professional development - taking additional time off work to invest in skills that genuinely matter. We provide a letter of acceptance upon request. Please confirm the specifics with your employer or regional authority before booking.
Life Beyond the Classroom
Malta packs more into a small space than almost anywhere else in Europe. A UNESCO World Heritage capital. Bronze Age temples older than Stonehenge. A coastline that switches between dramatic cliffs and sheltered bays. And a relaxed Mediterranean pace of life that makes it impossible not to slow down and enjoy where you are.
Our leisure programme runs alongside your course throughout the week, with guided excursions, city tours, and social events built in from the start. A welcome evening on arrival means you're never navigating the first days alone. As the weeks unfold, highlights include a half-day in Valletta, an evening tour of the ancient walled city of Mdina, boat trips to the Blue Lagoon on the island of Comino, and cultural excursions to Malta's prehistoric temples and fortified harbours. Sports and social activities at the Club Village - beach volleyball, football, zumba, and pool sessions - are there whenever you want them. The number of included excursions grows with the length of your stay.
An Intensive Leisure Programme is available as an optional add-on for those who want a fully packed schedule from morning to evening. However you choose to spend your free time, Malta rewards curiosity at every turn.
Accommodation at the Club Village
Where you stay shapes the whole experience. We offer a range of accommodation options to suit different preferences and budgets, all on or close to campus, and all designed to keep you connected to the community from day one.
The most popular choice is on-campus accommodation in the Club Village, where your apartment sits directly alongside the pool, restaurant, and school facilities. Room types include twin and triple options, and your flatmates will be fellow adult students from across Europe and beyond. All apartments include air conditioning and regular cleaning. Standard and Comfort Apartment options offer different levels of space and comfort, both with shared kitchen access on campus. For those who want a more personal local experience, a homestay with a Maltese family provides daily language immersion alongside full board and a genuine window into island life.
Half board and full board meal plans are available across most accommodation types, and we cater to vegetarian, gluten-free, and other dietary requirements when noted at the time of booking. Our team is on hand from your arrival to make sure every practical detail is taken care of, so you can focus entirely on what you came for.

Malta is one of Europe's most accessible and rewarding destinations for an English language course. English has been an official language of Malta for over a century, which means you'll hear and use it everywhere - not just in the classroom. Groups are kept small - a maximum of ten students per class in most courses - which gives teachers the flexibility to personalise their approach and give you the attention your progress deserves.

We provide a letter of acceptance for this purpose, and our courses are structured to meet the relevant educational leave requirements. Eligibility rules vary by region and employer, so we recommend confirming the details with your HR department or regional authority before booking. We are happy to support you through the process.
