London vs Brighton

Whether you're exploring world-famous museums or strolling sun-lit promenades with new friends, SPRACHCAFFE offers adults and students two remarkable English cities.

London puts you in the heart of a dynamic global hub. Our British Council-accredited school in welcoming Ealing is just 20 minutes from the center via the Elizabeth line. Mornings feature small classes (up to 18 students) focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing with qualified teachers. Afternoons and evenings are for you: the National Gallery, Thames walks, or group hangouts. Choose homestay with a local family (within 45 minutes of school) for immersive everyday fluency, or a convenient residence.

Brighton buzzes with creative coastal energy. Our school near the iconic seafront lets you catch pier sunrises before class and pebble-beach afternoons. Explore with your SPRACHCAFFE community. Stay in Residence Seafront with en-suite bathrooms, full board, and stunning sea views-surrounded by fellow students from day one.

Both cities deliver full English immersion no home classroom can match.

Stays range from one to six weeks depending on the location. Most families opt for a two-week programme. This gives students enough time to settle in and make real progress. Friendships form that last long beyond summer. Longer stays of four weeks or more are also available. The longer the stay, the more students gain. Current starting dates are listed on our location pages.

Our camps in England welcome students aged 12 to 17. Brighton and London North are open from age 12. The London programme starts at age 14. Students are grouped by both age and language level. This ensures everyone feels comfortable and appropriately challenged. No prior knowledge of English is needed for beginner levels. Full details on each location are available on our programme pages.

Every SPRACHCAFFE camp is supervised by trained Teamers. These are young adults aged between 20 and 30. They travel with the group at all times. Each Teamer looks after around 15 students. Students aged 17 and under observe a curfew and follow the full leisure programme as a group. Full board accommodation means meals and evenings are fully covered. We strongly recommend purchasing medical travel insurance before departure.

Every package includes the English language course and full board accommodation. The standard leisure programme and excursions are also part of the package. A welcome party takes place on arrival. Evening events, sports activities, and city tours are part of every week. Airport transfers are available at an additional charge. The number of excursions included depends on the length of stay. The complete inclusions list for each location is available on our programme pages.
