At Sprachcaffe we know that a comfortable place to call home for the duration of your stay is essential for the overall enjoyment of your travel and language experience in Frankfurt, and that's why we have several options available for you. Your comfort is our priority, especially as it increases your ability to learn and gain from your stay.

In Frankfurt you can choose between three accommodation options: Apartment; Homestay; and Hotel. The following table outlines the details of each option.

    Check in is always on Sunday between 2pm and 8pm unless staying in the hotel, in which case check in is from 4pm. The final night of rental is always Friday and therefore departure is on Saturday.

    The most exiting sights in Frankfurt

    Skyline

    Did you know that only Frankfurt has a skyline in the whole of Germany? Reason enough to take a closer look at the skyline and take some nice pictures of it. The best place to do this is from the Eiserner Steg or the Alte Brücke. But you also have an incredible view over the whole of Frankfurt from the Main Tower.

    Römer

    The beautiful town hall of the city of Frankfurt is today's Römer building. Today it is an important landmark of Frankfurt. You can find it in the old town of Frankfurt, on Römerberg and opposite St. Nicholas Church. In the Middle Ages, German emperors were even elected here. It is definitely worth a visit!

    Alte Oper

    Since the old opera house in Frankfurt was badly damaged during the war, it had to be reconstructed. Since 1981, events, performances and concerts have been held there again. During your visit, you will certainly be impressed by the historic building. Various events such as galas, balls, concerts and much more await you here.

    Tourism in Frankfurt

    Frankfurt is the financial capital of Germany and also one of the most culturally diverse cities in Germany. Frankfurt prides itself in having great diversity with its large amount of foreigners in the city. Frankfurt is also one of only four European cities that has a significant number of skyscrapers. With ten skyscrapers (i.e. buildings taller than 150 m (492 ft)) as of 2004, Frankfurt is second behind Paris with twelve skyscrapers, but ahead of London with eight skyscrapers and Moscow with seven skyscrapers.

    With its long strip of museums and its city combined with new skyscrapers as well as historical districts, Frankfurt is a city merging new times with old. Intersting sites to see in Frankfurt include old Sachsenhausen known also as the 'apple wine district' where you will find over 20 bars and restaurants in a rather small area. There is also Frankfurt's Old Opera House which functions today as a concert hall. You can even climb up to the top of the Main Tower and get a view over the entire region. With this as well as a botanical garden, a zoo, and just endless restaurants, Frankfurt will always leave you with something to do.

    Geography and Climate

    Frankfurt is located by the river Main, in the German state of Hessen.  The winter months get rather cold and rainy and it sometimes snows while the summer months are warm and mild. The winds are coming from the south and for the bigger part of the year, the wind force is calm and more frequent during the night-time.

    Frankfurt continues to hold onto some of its most customary traditional food and drinks.
