What to Expect on Our Nutrition and Exercise Retreats

Each retreat week includes 25 lessons of guided practice, split into a morning and an afternoon block. One half of the programme is about food: in practical, easy-to-follow sessions, you learn how your meals affect your concentration, mood and stamina, and a meal prep workshop turns this knowledge into solutions for your everyday life, whether you love cooking, rarely cook or usually eat in the canteen. The other half is movement: outdoor mobilisation loosens stiff shoulders and a tired back, while strength and functional training build up step by step at your own pace. This is not a diet or weight-loss programme. The focus is on how you feel, and on habits that last. The evenings are yours to explore, rest or share dinner with your fellow participants.

A Fitness Holiday for Every Fitness Level

You don't have to be sporty to join. The training sessions are moderate and health-focused, so you can start wherever you are right now, whether you exercise regularly or are just getting back into it. Nobody is chasing records here: what matters is how you feel afterwards. The retreat suits anyone who wants more energy in everyday life, a healthy balance to long hours at a desk or simply a fresh start with food and movement. Many guests travel on their own and quickly find their place in the group.

Malta, Spain or Morocco: Our Nutrition and Exercise Retreats Compared

Wherever you book, the programme stays the same: 25 lessons of nutrition know-how, meal prep and moderate training in English over one week, in a group of no more than 15 participants. You work on the same topics, follow the same structure and receive the same individual attention from your instructor.

What makes each retreat unique is the food culture and the landscape around you. Every destination has its own way of eating well, from the island markets of Malta to Andalusian cuisine and the spices of Morocco, and each gives you different ways to stay active in your free time. Simply choose the place that suits your taste, quite literally.

A fitness retreat in Malta lets you experience Mediterranean living up close. The island's markets are full of fresh vegetables, fish, olives and seasonal fruit, and Maltese cooking shows how good simple ingredients can taste. On our Club Village campus in St Julian's, course and optional accommodation are in one place, and in a self-catering apartment you can try out your new meal prep ideas straight away.

A fitness retreat in Spain takes you to Hotel La Garganta in El Chorro, near Málaga. Andalusian cuisine, with its olive oil, fresh vegetables and small shared dishes, is a perfect example of balanced eating without strict rules. Around the hotel, mountains, the gorge and hiking trails such as the Caminito del Rey give you plenty of reasons to stay active after class.

A fitness retreat in Morocco brings you to Rabat, where colourful markets, fragrant spices and fresh produce shape everyday life. Moroccan cooking combines vegetables, pulses and herbs in dishes that are both nourishing and full of flavour. In your free time, you can explore the medina, walk along the Atlantic coast or relax in the city's green parks and gardens.

Whichever destination you choose, you'll take home practical knowledge, simple routines and new energy for your everyday life.
