سنة سعيدة Happy New Year from Morocco

Morocco boasts a broad Muslim culture which has been influenced by Western traditions. While Christmas is not an official holiday in Morocco, the country’s link to Western culture and the French culture in particular has introduced Christmas celebrations into many homes with young children. The main celebration during the festive season is on New Year’s Eve when the public TV channels dedicate programming to enjoy the festivities around the country. Hotels, restaurants and cocktail lounges also take part in the celebrations.
