Rabat - The Gateway to the Orient
Traveling time: 1 or 2 weeks - 01.10. to 08.10., 22.10. or 29.10.2018
The secrets of The Orient are in Rabat! The magic and myth of The Orient are already centuries old and will be revealed to you bit by bit each day. In the middle of the colorful hustle and bustle of the markets and bazaars, we will take you on an unforgettable tour of discovery. And thanks to the language course, you will not only be a part of the program from the outset, but an active participant!

Activity Program
Who would have thought that The Orient was so close by: the southern point of Gibraltar is even visible from Tangier and Rabat is not too far from the heart of Morocco!
As is the custom in Morocco, we’ll greet you with a lovingly brewed glass of mint tea. Afterwards we’ll take you through the metropolis and show you the most impressive sights and much more by day and night.
You’ll also spend a relaxing afternoon in a traditional Hammam, eat at the best restaurants in town or get a chance to practice your culinary skills at our cooking evening.
The highlight has to be the excursion to Marrakesh: where entrancing colors, unfamiliar aromas and exotic spices feel at home, we’ll set off from your 4 star hotel on a tour of the city – Inshallah.

In Rabat you can choose to stay in a riad or a hotel. A riad, a typical Moroccan guesthouse, is already covered in the program price and wins everyone over with its lovingly decorated rooms and traditional breakfast. On the other hand, you could enjoy classic European comfort in the hotel where you can prepare yourself well for each day at the buffet. Of course, both accommodations can easily be reached by foot from the school.
Hotel ***
The Hotel is in the Rabat’s Hassan quarter. Rabat train station is a 2-minute walk away, Hassan Tower is 5 minutes away, and the language school is a 10-minute walk away. Each room is air-conditioned and has satellite TV and a private en-suite bathroom with a shower. In the mornings, a breakfast buffet will be served. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas of B&B Rabat Medina. Rabat-Salé International Airport is just 10 km away.
Riad Guesthouse
The language school is about 20 minutes away by foot. The souks of Rabat, including jewelery shops and carpet dealers, are located in the immediate vicinity of the riad. The Kasbah of Oudayas, the old quarter of Rabat, can be reached in a few minutes. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower. The riad’s roof terrace is particularly beautiful – that’s where the breakfast is served in good weather and from where one can enjoy the panoramic view over the river Bou Regreg and the coastal road.
Note: Guests can access the common terrace and the library
