Our School in Brighton

Our language school is located directly on the picturesque seafront in the West Beach Hotel residence. Stay where your classes take place - enjoy short commutes, ultimate convenience, and stunning sea views all in one!

Lessons are taught in small groups of up to 15 students by dedicated teachers who ensure engaging and effective learning. All materials are provided, and the campus includes a store and spacious cafeteria for your convenience.

During high season, some lessons are held at our summer school (30 minutes from the residence), but most courses take place at our Holland Road and Queens Road buildings, with summer options at a local college.

Our language programmes take place on the spacious Moulsecoomb campus of the University of Brighton. Moulsecoomb is two miles north of Brighton city centre. The campus has excellent travel links with Moulsecoomb train station just next door, frequent bus services and cycle lanes.

Course Details

Our Standard English course covers the four different skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking) following our age appropriate coursebook and syllabus. You will also get the opportunity to work on your grammar, vocabulary and English pronunciation. Our Intensive courses provide additional practice. Communicative activities focussing on vocabulary building and speaking give students the opportunity to use their new language and skills. Classes may be of mixed level ability which also creates a supportive learning environment and the chance for students to help each other develop their English skills.
With our balanced curriculum and qualified teachers, you will have the opportunity to effectively learn every aspect of the English language, from grammar and comprehension to reading and writing. As you progress, your teachers will support and encourage you to gain confidence in your new language skills.

Beginners are welcome! Before your trip, you'll complete an online test to determine your language level, ensuring a smooth start on Monday.

At the end of your course, you'll receive a Sprachcaffe certificate to confirm your participation-an invaluable addition to your achievements. A language course in Brighton is always worth it!
